Calling all emerging performance makers! Do you have what it takes to make new work in an unconventional space? Have you always dreamt of performing ‘outside the theatrical box’? A brilliant idea just waiting to be produced?
On the Verge Festival wants to hear from emerging artists/companies with fresh ideas, who can challenge themselves to create something unforgettable for audiences. On The Verge Festival is an exciting and dynamic festival, dedicated to supporting and showcasing provocative new work by emerging artists, presented in unusual spaces, across the city of Liverpool from 18thto 22ndOctober 2017.
Submit your proposals by midnight 26th March 2017
The selected artists/companies will have access to a bespoke package of developmental support from Hope Street Ltd before, during and after the festival to aid the realisation of their work. This may take the form of creative production support, help with sourcing/apply for funding, marketing and future planning.
We are eager to hear proposals for pieces that may take place anywhere that isn’t already somewhere people go to see performance. This could be a phone box, a park, a shop window, a skip, a flat – or any other unconventional places or spaces.
