Call for entries
We are beginning preparations for the 8th  Liverpool Open Exhibition at Editions Gallery and we are inviting Merseyside based artists and print makers to submit work for the 2017 Liverpool Open Exhibition. We considered taking a break this year (like Glastonbury) but we’ve had so many requests for information from artists that we have decided to just go with it. Many artists who regularly exhibit at Editions are introduced to us by their open submissions and subsequent selection so it’s always a great opportunity to find out who’s being doing what over the course of the year.
To enter you are asked to complete the entry form and return it by email, together with good quality jpeg images of the work you wish to submit for the exhibition to liverpoolopen@editionsltd.net by 6pm on Friday 26th May 2017. Any entry form submitted after this date will not be considered.
The exhibition will run from the 15th June 2017(Private View) to the 15th July 2017 at Editions Gallery, Cook Street, Liverpool.
Each selected artist will be invited to put up to 3 pieces of work in the exhibition and to be considered for selection you must be an artist or print maker resident in Merseyside.
The Exhibition is open to all forms of 2D work. Entries will be judged by an independent selection panel and therefore it is essential you provide good quality images. Artists will be contacted with the panel’s decision no later than Monday 5th June 2017. Artwork chosen for the exhibition will be required to be handed into the Gallery before 4pm on Saturday 10th June 2017
