dot-art Schools is welcoming applications from schools in the Liverpool City region, Cheshire West and Chester, Cheshire East and Warrington to showcase the artistic skills of Year 5 and Year 9 students.

dot-art Schools is an interactive, online, inter-school, art competition, taking part annually and culminating in an exhibition. Open to primary (year 5) and secondary (year 9) schools in the Liverpool City Region and now in Cheshire West & Chester, Cheshire East and Warrington. It is designed to nurture talent, raise ambition, and take art out of the classroom and into the real world.


Registration is open until Christmas for mainstream and Special Educational Needs schools to sign up for the highly anticipated 2017-2018 art competition.

Competition entries can be of any theme + will be shortlisted by noted arts professionals, culminating in a public exhibition with winners selected by an online public vote.

The exhibition will be hosted by our project partner, Liverpool John Moores University, at the Liverpool School of Art & Design. The contest is designed to celebrate the creative talents of young people + develop the next generation of rising stars. dot-art Schools is committed to championing creative education in schools, and through its inter-school competition, gives young people confidence + pride in their creative abilities, skills used across a vast number of career pathways.
