The Everyman and Playhouse Young Producers Company/ Blabbermouth Productions Presents: The Drag Lab 2.0
As we all unfortunately know 2020 was an absolute shambles (to say the very least)!! However we have the news that you have all been waiting for WE ARE BACK!!!! The Drag Lab will be taking place in some form in the summer of 2021!!!!!! (Is that not the best news you’ve heard since Boris announced 21st June???)
What is ‘The Drag Lab’ I hear you say??
The Drag Lab is an experimental, transitional piece where we ask what does drag mean to you? A unique offering from the YEP Producers/ Blabbermouth Productions The Drag Lab is an exploratory promenade piece taking you through the conception and evolution of the artistry of DRAG. Like drag, this event is totally inclusive and open to all audiences 12+.
We are looking to speak with performers who have experience of performing drag in all of its beautiful forms (incl Drag Kings, Queens, Gender fluid, Queer and Non-Conforming). We are looking for dancers, actors, performance artists, cabaret artists, comedy performers and all inbetween to share their stories and experiences of Drag.
If you are interested in being a part of the project, having an input on what ‘The Drag Lab 2.0’ is going to be or are just interested in the project then please do get in contact with us by emailing us at yepproducers2018@gmail.com with some information about what it is you do and how you would like to be involved. Availability between 26th July 2021 – 30th July 2021 would be needed.
