Applications are now open for the Makers Market at the National Festival of Making 2019. Hopeful and Glorious are curating the market bringing together a selection of the best in art, craft and design.
The Makers Market will be held at King Georges Hall, Blackburn and stall prices start at £80 for the full weekend. In addition to the opportunity to have a stall at the Makers Market, we are also inviting makers to apply to do a 10-minute demonstration to share their passion for their work with the visiting public. There will be a designated demo area and makers will have the opportunity to benefit for an increased profile.
Our aim is to curate a stunning showcase of the best of Northern creativity with fantastic artists, designers and makers from across the region. Each artist will bring their own unique style of art, design, jewellery, photography and craft. This year’s Makers Market will feature 50+ stalls.
The selection process is ongoing and interested makers are advised to apply early.
