DOOR, 5th March – 7th May 2017
For this themed exhibition we are seeking works in any media that investigates, often challenging and thought provoking exhibition and we are looking for artworks that go beyond the obvious and literal meaning of doors: works that carry a narrative, have multi-layered meanings or are indicative of an artist’s deeply personal visual language
Artists submissions are now being accepted.

The Waterfront Arts Project, Southport’s home of fine art practice, has been hosting themed exhibitions since 2010. Originally founded as a ‘pop-up’ gallery the Project has held over forty exhibitions and has provided artshow opportunities for more than 700 visual artists.
The Project, which is run as an artists’ collective, has an established ethos of providing exhibition access for new and emerging artists, students and graduates. Described by Creative Tourist magazine as ‘edgily industrial’ the large glass, steel and concrete gallery space acts as a perfect backdrop for all media including sculpture, photography, painting, installation and video/film productions.
