British Ceramics Biennial
AWARD
Following the success of AWARD in 2015 the exhibition will again take place in the China Hall on the former Spode factory site, where it will be presented as the centre-piece of the British Ceramics Biennial, in Stoke-on-Trent from 23 September to 5 November 2017.
Artists are asked to submit proposals, outlining what work they would seek to present if selected. It is a condition that all work proposed is no more than 3 years old. We anticipate that many of the artists will propose to make new work for the 2017 exhibition.
- Ten short-listed artists will be given a grant of £500 for use in meeting costs of the preparation of their proposed work and its delivery to the exhibition venue.
- A single cash prize of £5,000 will be made together with an offer to the winner to be involved in both the selection process for AWARD 2019 and the subsequent BCB 2019 exhibition programme.
