Auditions for Rigoletto 2020 – Bregenz Festival, Austria, Wired Aerial Theatre

WIRED AERIAL THEATRE IS SEARCHING FOR:

AN EXPERIENCED AND SENSATIONAL ACRO / HAND TO HAND BALANCE DUO (MALE / FEMALE)
A CHARISMATIC PHYSICAL THEATRE PERFORMER / CLOWN (FEMALE)

PRODUCTION AND AUDITION INFORMATION:

Wired return this summer to the Bregenz Opera Stage on Lake Constance, Austria to perform the truly magnificent production of Rigoletto. This extraordinary production is led by inspirational Director, Philipp Stolzl and produced by Bregenzer Festspielhaus and will involve working in Bregenz from around 21st June to 23rd of August this year. Wired Aerial Theatre provide all stunts (working at 28 metres on top of the head and hanging from huge fingers etc), as well as providing exceptional performers for more ground-based roles.

CASTING:

We require established, head-turning performers who would be interested in using elements of their act and skills within the show to create a jaw-dropping new version of Rigoletto.

You should be naturally inquisitive and creative, have experience of working at height or be eager to be trained to do so, work well as part of a team and embrace working in the outdoors. This amazing opera performs in all weathers to a 7,000 strong audience each evening throughout the summer.
