Royal Armouries (Leeds) is seeking creative response from one or more artist/s, jewellery maker/s or metalworker/s to make new work for display in response to objects (mostly highly decorative sword fittings) in a forthcoming touring exhibition: ‘Warrior Treasures: Saxon Gold from the Staffordshire Hoard’ (26 May 2016 – 2 October 2016). The process of making will be captured on film, and the object/s made and film footage will be included within the exhibition in Leeds.
