Liverpool’s Royal Court are looking for a Box Office Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the Box Office at all times including all ticket sales, staffing (including hiring and training new staff where necessary) and keeping clear lines of communication between Box Office and all other departments.
Liverpool’s Royal Court is an independent theatre in the heart of Liverpool city centre. The theatre produces eight or nine in-house shows a year, each running for four to six weeks. The focus is largely on Liverpool-based comedy and entertainment, reaching out to an audience that other theatres see as “non-attenders”.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Management of training for all box office staff
Maintenance of ticketing systems (house seats, building shows, creating pricing schedules etc)
Managing handover of Box Office information to front of house on show nights
Financial reporting on all shows for the Chief Executive
Managing complimentary ticket allocations for staff, cast and crew
Maintain displays in Box Office and leaflet racks throughout the building
Act as a conduit for any staff issues between Box Office staff and senior management
Order stationery for Box Office
Ensuring Box Office staff time sheets are processed and sent to finance on a weekly basis.
Communicating any employment issues/changes to finance in a timely manner.
Perform any reasonable task requested by Marketing Manager or Chief Executive

This is a full time, 40 hours per week role. Hours will vary and will include evenings and weekends.
Starting salary £18,000 per annum
