My subject matter is mostly still life with a particular interest in the overlooked and neglected.I am fascinated by how things change from day to day, or even minute by minute! Life drawing fulfills other aspects of my art, when I can be more direct and spontaneous. I recently moved to Merseyside from London where I had two one man shows and was a regular exhibitor with the Royal Institute of Oil Painters and the New English Art Club. In Liverpool I paint and teach at my studio and also work on drawing projects in conjunction with the Walker Art Gallery.
