Why am I an artist? It’s bloody cool! They should be the stock question and answers for art full stop, but tragically human nature loves to over complicate things beyond reason so I suppose I’ll have to give some added details. Here we go… Let’s start in reverse order… Art at its fundamental level is supposed to evoke a reaction from its audience. Now as a rule it should be a reaction the artist desires, sometimes it simply doesn’t matter. I just came back to this, and re read that paragraph. Boring isn’t it? You know what you like, I hope my art is going to be a part of that, however small. |
