Moxon, Lucy

In 2016, Lucy graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with a BA(Hons) Fine Art degree; since then, she has been pursuing her artistic career within the city – creating artworks within her studio space, setting up exhibitions and working on commission-based art. Lucy has, and continues to; get involved with school and community art projects, offering tutorials and creativity in any way that she can.

Lucy is an active artist who works in a wide range of media, but is predominantly passionate about painting.  This artist has always been involved in creating artwork that revolves around a sense of identity – or lack of it. She is a fervent portrait artist whom strives to capture life within her work and a sense of who her model really is. Lucy endeavors to produce art that spectacles real imagery that society would rather conceal. This artist’s work shatters false identity and makes no effort to hide the non-socially acceptable.
Lucy says; “For me, it’s the overwhelming feeling that the marks that I make on a canvas, can influence a viewer’s mind. I will never tire of the challenge and excitement of bringing a portrait to life.”

Lucy welcomes any feedback or queries concerning her work and possible commissions. Please feel free to get in touch and ask for a free quotation.
