I said there was a donkey in Bold St. last Thursday now thanks to Minako Udea I have the picture to prove it. Minako posts weekly stories and photos about Liverpool to a Japanese website called ScouseHouse, there’s a few pictures of local art events there. Well worth a look.
After going to the Museum yesterday I called into the Liverpool Vision place at the Old Haymarket. There’s plenty of info and scale models of the various regeneration projects in progress or planned. For instance there’s the Kings Dock plans, the Met Quarter, the Commercial District and Lime St. ‘Gateway’.
But also there’s this splendid model put together by pupils at Broughton Hall High School.
In the evening I went to see Goldfrapp at the Carling Academy. An excellent gig and I never knew you could play the theremin between the legs. Interesting!
