‘The Gallery’ on the first floor of Clayton Sq. officially launched last Saturday. The proprietor, Madelaine, doesn’t always dress like this but it was Halloween (I think that was the reason). As well as her own paintings, including many portraits, she is exhibiting works by Keith Smith and there will be others over the coming weeks.
She was also running workshops for children. The gallery is well positioned in the city centre shopping area and should be popular. Its good to see another empty shop being put to good use, lets hope it stays for a lengthy period.
It is open from Thursday through until Sunday between 12.30hrs – 18.00hrs (17.00hrs close Sun.)
