‘Four Corners 2007’ – Show Me The Door

I haven’t had a look at the installations inside the building yet but I’m told they’re very interesting. I’ll be back on Thursday when it opens to the public. Its only open this Thursday to Saturday, I’m not sure how long those doors will stay up.

Four Corners exhibition

Four Corners’ House, 34-36 Great George Street, Liverpool, L1 5EP (opposite the Anglican Cathedral)

Nearly 150 front doors have been used to clad the exterior of a formerly derelict house in Great George Street, to celebrate the culmination of Four Corners 2007. The doors have been sourced from demolished or refurbished homes across Liverpool.

The inside of the building has been transformed into a temporary gallery, housing work that addresses the question “What makes a neighbourhood?
