Fireworks at Tate Liverpool

A short bit of video of the firework display on the Mersey by Liverpool Tate tonight.
This was a 6 minute display after the opening of the new exhibition ‘The Real Thing’ – Contemporary Art From China which runs from March 30 to June 10 2007.

ifidknown.jpgThe firework performance was created by the Yangjiang Group and is called ‘If I Knew the Danger Ahead, I’d Have Stayed Well Clear’.

This message was projected onto the side wall of the Tate at the end of the performance which was a sort of battle between two barges on the river shooting fireworks at each other.

It was a great show but my films taken with an ordinary digital camera don’t do it justice. You had to be there really.
