‘You’ll Never Work Alone’

I’m a bit late with this info, sorry…

Hope Street Ltd Presents

‘You’ll Never Work Alone’

A multi media installation showing how Liverpool is seen and experienced by three different groups of people.

Over three weeks, artist, Julian Gillespie and filmmaker, Robin Rice have been working with the Hope Street Apprentices, in shaping and designing this project. The word Culture has been taken as a starting point, and the three groups, the Liverpool Hindu Community Group, the Smithdown Bi-Lingual Project and Hope Street Ltd, have each been chosen to reflect their Culture through drawing, film and a sound scape capturing their conversations and stories.

Like a jigsaw puzzle is made up of many pieces so too is a City – it is this integration of the cultural pieces that is explored in this highly innovative installation.

The installation will be sited at The Hindu Temple, 235 Edge Lane, Liverpool L7 2PH and will be open to the public for three days and only at the following times:

Sunday 3rd June from 2pm to 4pm
Monday 4th June from 6pm to 7.30pm
Tuesday 5th June from 7pm to 9pm

It is a free event.
