Liverpool Hope University is pleased to announce a new performance venue for Liverpool.
The Capstone building is Liverpool Hope’s new Centre for Music, Performance and Innovation.
By day it will be home to Creative and Performing Arts students and staff, but by night, it will open its doors to the people of Liverpool who can enjoy shows at Hope Theatre, a space designed specifically to have the best possible acoustic, ideal for classical and contemporary music.
The Capstone, funded with the assistance of the NWDA and the Higher Education Funding Council (HEFCE) will also be one of only three Steinway Schools in the UK. All the pianos in the venue, both for performance and rehearsals, will be Steinways. Flagship among these will be the new Steinway D Concert Grand piano in Hope Theatre, which will be inaugurated by Joanna MacGregor on Friday 26th March.
Please see above details of all events taking place during the opening week.
Tickets for the events are available from the Liverpool Philharmonic box office, Hope Street, L1 9BP, 0151 709 3789
