Photographic Exhibition at Warrington Bank Quay House

In 2011 Warrington Photographic Society celebrates 125 years from it’s inauguration. The Gallery At Bank Quay House will be looking back at members work in a FREE exhibition being shown from 4th March to 11th April 2011.

Come and explore the exciting work of the society throughout the years developing with the developments in photographic techniques and materials.

Images include landscapes, portraits and Warrington life as depicted by members. Photographs range from prints made from original glass lantern-slides from the 1890s, right up to present day digital ink jet prints.

As the society progresses through their second century they hope that there will be people still willing to associate together with the common cause of making pictures.

The group welcomes new members with meetings taking place weekly from September to May and monthly during the Summer. For more information on Warrington Photographic Society and how to join, please visit

We hope you can join us in welcoming the exhibition on the opening night Thursday 3rd March, 6-8pm.

Free Admission.
Open Mon-Fri 9-5, Sat 9-4.
