More Live Art on Bold Street This Thursday

Liverpool’s answer to The World Free Running Championships!

Join UrbanCanvas this Thursday 20th  August 2009 between 3pm and 6pm at the bottom of Bold Street’s pedestrianised area, Liverpool (outside the old Lyceum) Where Liverpool’s own team of internationally acclaimed artists (UrbanCanvas) will be returning to the scene of their crimes, This Thursday will see us free running up and down Bold St….. jumping on and off street furniture and possibly even roof tops; cutting shapes on the run from the street art bobbies- as criminal artists we will be in disguise……. we have a feeling  that the art bobbies are onto us. You will find us at the bottom of Bold St outside the old Lyceum where random artistic activities will abound and the general public will be free to engage.

The following week we shall be projectile vomiting garbage from the mouths of passersby as we take over Rope Walk Square outside FACT for a live art installation.

See you there or be in the square!

……..this is the third of four events happening every Thursday in August around the Bold Street area………Based around the Year of The Environment celebrations, join us every week as we transform our environment with the help of the public, volunteers and artists…..a real interactive street art experience!

Space for Art…As part of this event we will be having ‘a space for art’ where people can come down and spontaneously create art within a given space on the street…….a bit like The Fourth Plinth this will be a place of random happenings for anybody who wishes to make or create stuff in a public place!!! (Rules apply!)

This event is part of Alive after Five and is supported by Liverpool CityCentral……. …….. The Heartbeat of Liverpool!
