Liverpool photographer Francesco Mellina has a new exhibition coming up in May (10-28th) at Corke Art Gallery, co-inciding nicely with Liverpool Sound City (19 – 21 May).

Francesco Mellina – Rock & Roll Icons
A collection of Francesco’s iconic photographs of Joe Strummer, The Ramones and Punk Girls at Eric’s as well as photographs never before exhibited.
Meanwhile, Francesco who used to manage Dead or Alive, has also set up a new Liverpool record label – My Passion Records and from today you can download the first EP titled Beloved Child on the label by Italian group Other Voices.
The EP is produced by ex Space bassist/producer/arranger, Yorkie in Liverpool, he says
“Other Voices are refreshingly passionate about their music, something that I find lacking in a lot of bands these days. My main aim as producer was to capture their sound with all the energy they put into it, with as little embellishment as possible”
