David Knopov says “you can’t just sit there and watch this animated disaster go by. It didn’t look real but the uncomfortable fact is that this is real and It’s not just one disaster but 3 devastating disasters one after the other”

Gary Millar said “I was shocked by the reality of the devastation and moved by the dignity of those affected in Japan. At first I felt totally helpless but Liverpool’s efforts starting with our Book of Condolence has stirred me and others into actions. Art Aid is one of our baby steps and hopefully all of our little steps raise money for people in need and show’s the people of Japan that Liverpool cares.”

Minako Jackson from Art in Liverpool added “as one of the Japanese nationals living in Liverpool I am grateful for Liverpool’s thoughts and dedicated efforts to help my country at this heartbreaking time.”
