First Kitchen Gallery Open Contemporary Art Competition for Artists from the North West – Call for Artists
DEADLINE: 28th February 2006
Who: Original 2D work by contemporary artists working in the North West of England.
What: New Open Art Competition at artist run space located in an award winning tourist attraction in Cheshire. In its first year the Kitchen Gallery will be showing 2D works in any media excluding photography and computer generated images. Works are not to exceed 50 cm x 50 cm nor project more than 15cm from the wall.
Prizes: 1st Prize of 150 plus a well promoted solo exhibition at the Kitchen Gallery in September 2006. 100 Norton Priory Prize selected by the staff of the Museum. All artists selected will be represented in a colour brochure and by a page on the Kitchen Gallery website.
To Apply: Send for an application form by post, email or download from website; details below. Artists may submit up to 3 artworks; a non-refundable administration fee of 5 per artist is required before the application can be considered. Send no original artwork at this stage. Please also include a stamped self-addressed envelope for the safe return of your images.
When: Exhibition to run from 29th April to 28th May 2006
