Where’s the best place in the city to enjoy a pint of good ale on a fine Summer’s day? The beer garden at Ye Cracke of course and if its a bit cold or wet you can sit inside in the room adjacent to the garden which now doubles as a small gallery. Very nice. So the theme for this second group show is City Garden and there’s a fine selection of paintings – some obviously more horticultural than others, some abstract but in hot colours and one or two more dark but still with a wildlife feel. I think we’ll be spending more time here over the next few weeks, then I suppose its onto more Autumnal themes.
