World Museum Welcomes Millionth Visitor

Today, Wednesday 14 February 2007 World Museum Liverpool staff welcomed their one millionth visitor since the attraction opened less than two years ago.

Pictured here are two little boys, Elliot and Joseph Moon, who were the lucky millionth visitors. They were from Chorley on a day trip with grandparents. They had heard all about WML and were really looking forward to dinosaurs and planetarium shows!

They were treated to goody bags and those stylish caps you can see them sporting!
Also in the picture are a samurai warrior role player from the Treasure House Theatre and Emma, a demonstrator from Weston Discovery Centre.

John Millard, keeper of World Museum Liverpool says “We are proud to welcome one million visitors to World Museum Liverpool in less than two years.
