Faintly Drawn lines 23 –30 November 2008
A group of 7 artists selected from a nationwide open call, working in a diverse range of media, the exhibition provides an insight into how these practices overlap.

Jim Biddulph Is looking at the moving image technology of film and video, attempting to trace the untraceable through the drawn line. He may also be looking at subtle and humorous interventions into the conventions of the gallery space.
Alejandro Clavo A sinister reality is more than hinted at in his subtly haunting images, which could be described as visual poetry.
Charlene Clempson Her practice focuses on our very human hierarchical relationships with objects, examining a personal and wider cultural identity in search of a viewer’s inner longing.
Garth Gratix His work celebrates the restrictions of our everyday lives.
Katie Shipley Constructs sculptures that explore the ephemeral nature of memories through physical manifestations.
Patricia Shrigley Her experimental films take an irreverent, satirical approach to notions of self identity, mixing caricatures and stereotypes with scratch methods and post production animation.
