The prestigious ‘Lark Lane Atelier’ art gallery was packed on Saturday night for the private launch of “The Atelier End of Winter Art Show”. Artists, celebrities and patron’s of the gallery filled the rooms for an exclusive viewing of paintings by local artists including gallery proprietor Frances Conway-Seymour.
Amongst the guests was long standing friend of the gallery radio presenter Roger Phillips, “Frances never ceases to amaze me with her unique style and this latest showing is full of stunning paintings that people of all ages can enjoy. I particularly enjoyed her fun “Feast of Dionysus or Hen Party” painting, the use of various mediums creates a quirky three dimensional centrepiece for the show, a must see if you are visiting Lark Lane.”
Frances added, “It was a delight to see so many friends attend Saturday’s launch. We’ve put together a family show for all to enjoy which includes work from Jerry and Anne Hicks, Tim Armstrong, Phil Dowling and Jane Grieson to name a few. We even have the pleasure of exhibiting Alex Corina’s famous montage of John Lennon as Mona Lisa in “Mona Lennon” celebrating the Capital of Culture year.”
The Lark Lane Atelier gallery is open Thursday to Sunday from 2pm to 6pm and entry is free, call 0151 727 5355 for more details.
