Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) is seeking Expressions of Interest to design, develop and deliver permanent public artwork(s)/feature(s) for the new Wigan Bus Station in Greater Manchester. Community consultation has taken place and this has informed the potential themes for the artwork, detailed in the Brief.

The inclusion of art on the transport network enhances the travel environment and provides TfGM with an opportunity to engage with local stakeholders and allow communities to highlight local history, local character and future aspirations on public transport infrastructure and the network.

The application process consists of 2 stages, Stage 1 – an Expression of Interest (EOI), from which a short-list of artists will be selected and invited to produce a more detailed Stage 2 application, for which a fee will be available.

All Expressions of Interest MUST be submitted via The Chest (ProContract), applications submitted via any other channel cannot be considered. Download the full Artists Brief and application details via ProContract here – goo.gl/wSx5Y2

The DEADLINE for Expressions of Interest is Friday 7 October, 5:00pm.  This is a strict deadline and applications MUST be received before this cut off point., so please ensure you leave plenty of time to submit your EOI.
