New Radicals: From Sickert to Freud

‘New Radicals: From Sickert to Freud’ focuses on the Walker Art Gallery’s impressive collection of early 20th century British masterpieces.
The exhibition includes responses to Impressionism and works by members of groups such as the Camden Town and London Group, through to independent figures including Ceri Richards, L.S. Lowry, Cecil Collins and Stanley Spencer.
The display will explore the development of art in Britain from the start of the 20th century to the period just after the Second World War exploring the stories behind these unique works of art.
