James Cummins – ‘Between the Lines’

James Cummins was born in Portland Gardens in the Scotland Road area of Liverpool and has studied painting in Spain, Italy, India and Bali. He currently lives and works as an independent artist in Berlin.
This first major exhibition of James’ work in Liverpool will comprise of new paintings, sculpture and installations, forming a poignant homecoming for the artist.
“I feel a great pride in being able to show my work in Liverpool in 2008. I hope to be able to enter into dialogues about art and its relevance in today’s global village with our national and international guests and to try to contribute something to Liverpool’s growing reputation as a city of culture.” JC
