Dave White talks about having his artist studio in the Baltic Triangle

Just enjoyed watching 3 short videos about the Baltic Triangle on the Baltic Triangle Website. They have obviously been produced to promote the area so everyone is saying pretty much the same thing about how good and creative and affordable it is. Of course, our office is there in the Novas CUC building so it must be good.

I fancy looking round that Pilgrims Progress antiques warehouse.

A series of six videos about Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle, showcasing the area to creative industries and property developers who might be interested in moving or investing there.

The films will be published, (one a week), as Liverpool starts seeing positive responses from exhibiting at the Shanghai World Expo.

In ‘Arts and Culture in the Baltic Triangle’, we speak to key players from venues offering great things to do in the Baltic Triangle. They are: Mike Carney from the A Foundation, Lewis Biggs from Liverpool Biennial, The Picket’s Phil Hayes and Natalie Heywood from Leaf Tea Shop & Bar.

Mohawk Media produced the films with top Liverpool photographer, Mark McNulty who shot the film and creative agency, Smiling Wolf (editor: Brainface) for post-production. Both collaborated for no fee.

“I was really happy to help out because there’s so much going on in that part of the city – tons of amazing visuals and interesting people,” says Mark.

“I’m also beginning to dip my toe into more film work so it was a brilliant chance to practise a relatively new skill for me and work with some great creatives.”

Simon Rhodes, creative director of Smiling Wolf based in Elevator Studios says:

“As a business based in the Baltic Triangle, we also know firsthand how and why its offer is appealing, so we felt well-placed to contribute on all levels.”
