Have you ever seen ‘Night at the Museum’? Now it’s your chance to find out what the museum and galleries really look like at night, with its late night opening this month. ‘Long Night’ is a twice yearly event hosted in collaboration with other city centre galleries around Liverpool, all of which will be open late into the night.

Backbeat (15) Saturday, 27 November, 2pm and Wednesday, 1 December, 7pm
The youthful Beatles travel to Germany to make a name for themselves on the music scene. However, after meeting a trendy group of Hamburg students, the musicians face a new problem, the decision between love, rock n’ roll, and a new life in Germany.

FREE Family Saturday – Victorian Photography Workshop
Saturday, 27 November, drop in between 1pm-4pm

Unlock your creativity at our photography workshop this November. Using a Victorian camera-less  technique, experiment with a range of objects on specially prepared paper and watch as exposure to light creates your own unique photographic image.

Music Concerts
Wednesday, 17 November, 1pm
(Leggate Theatre)The University of Liverpool’s School of Music’s baroque ensemble, Sonnatas a Tre, will be performing solely instrumental music on period instruments.
Admission is free and no booking is required.

Friday, 26 November, 7.30pm (Leggate Theatre)The 18th Century Concert Orchestra will be performing baroque music on period instruments in full traditional dress and in an atmostpheric setting to aptly re-create 18th-century musical life.
Tickets £8 full, £5 concessions and £3 students.

Children’s Artwork on Display at the Waterhouse CaféNovember 2010 – January 2011The winning and runner up entries of the ‘Liverpool Through Your Eyes’ competition are now exhibited on the display boards at the Waterhouse Café. The competition aimed to encourage children to look around the city and submit a drawing of their favourite Liverpool landmark.
