The Toxteth Primary Network Exhibition at Novas CUC

The Toxteth Primary Network Exhibition
24 June – 5 July 2009

The creative talents of children from a network of 14 schools in South/Central Liverpool will go on show at the NOVAS Contemporary Urban Centre in Greenland St. (off Jamaica St., L1) from Wednesday 24th June 2009 until Sunday 5th July (closed Mondays).

The exhibition celebrates young people’s talents in the visual arts in our city, and a wide range of media are represented. The end result is a stimulating, diverse exhibition which celebrates the excellent work being produced by our youngest artists. The range and quality of the work is inspirational, and if this exhibition is anything to go by, the future of the visual arts in Liverpool is in good hands.

The exhibition also encourages better community links by enabling schools to share excellent practice with each other, with local secondary schools and gallery art educators, and with parents and the general public.

The 14 participating schools are as follows:
Mathew Arnold
Our Lady of Mount Carmel
Pleasant St.
Windsor St.
St. Annes
St. Charles
St. Clares
St. Finbars
St. Hughes Chatham Nursery
St. Michael in the Hamlet
