Despite the first Potting Shed cabaret having a psychic theme, we were unable to see into the future and predict the untimely demise of both ship’s generators; and unfortunately the cabaret had to be postponed. Walk the Plank with Bluecoat – Liverpool Live for the Biennial present a cosmic cabaret featuring paranormal activity of a theatrical and mystical nature, compered by Terry Titter.

20.30 “For It Was Written in the Stars” Combining stand-up, autobiography, Irn-Bru and shortbread, cosmic comedienne Jo Docherty introduces her latest incarnation, Mercurious Morag. Born from a desire to explore our irrational fixation with astrology and the theatricality of fortune telling, she cuts a colourful course through the essentials of palmistry, tarot cards and ceilidh dancing.

21.30: Out come the stars of Liverpool’s homegrown Live Art and cabaret scene – including Transvoyeur artists, Lisa Wrigley, Kai Oi Jay Yung, Popolo, Franz and Carmen (The Gang)and some old favourites from the Potting Shed including the singing waitresses Mandy Romero and the Dressing Up Cloakroom.
