A huge event, it has taken a massive team of volunteers around 12 months to plan, and the charity has left themselves with lots of work to do in the little time that’s left.

The excitement is building with around 15,000 visitors expected to attend this magnificent event over the two weeks. The first week is fully booked with local primary schools rushing to experience Narnia.  In Another Place are hoping the public can follow the schools by selling out the final week.

Annie Spiers, Head of In Another Place said, “For Narnia fans we hope this will be an unforgettable experience where visitors actually walk through the story, through a forest of 80 pine trees, visit Mr Tumnus in his house and the scary White witch.

“The set, costumes and scenery has been created by a huge team of volunteers – this is Liverpool demonstrating the power of community – volunteers pooling their creative skills to put on an event for ordinary people to enjoy, and in one of the most prestigious buildings in our city !  Don’t miss it – it will probably never happen again.”

Visitors will get the chance to encounter all sorts of great characters on their way round, including the White Witch, Mr Tumnus, Mrs Beaver, the Professor and Aslan.

Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to see a breath-taking adaption of CS. Lewis’s inspiring book.

The Narnia experience was firstly carried out back in 2009, when over 3,000 people visited Old Christ Church in Waterloo to see the production, with 78 different classes from 30 schools visiting.
