Programmed by young people, this weekend is packed full of events, workshops, films and lots of other fun stuff for everyone to take part in and enjoy. There will be British Sign Language Interpreters and Audio Describers available throughout the weekend.

 

Body Mapping Workshop
10am-4pm

Create expressionistic painting with artist, Rachel Gadsden at this family-oriented fun hands-on art workshop inspired by Edward Rushton and the Al Noor – Fragile Vision exhibition.

11am-12pm and 1- 2pm

Local writer Roger Cliffe-Thompson will guide budding wordsmiths in this workshop, using words to create poems, songs and stories.

Unpicking Threads of Gold
12-1.30pm and 3-4pm

Learn how to share experiences and tales from your life in this creative workshop led by storyteller, Grindl Dockery.

Young DaDa Ensemble Project Celebration
4-5pm

This newly create group of young disabled and deaf musicians will be sharing their work so far including a short performance.
