The oldest building in Liverpool city centre, the Bluecoat celebrates 300 years in 2017, and these heritage events are designed to generate interest in the building’s fascinating history and rich cultural and architectural heritage. Starting life as a charity school in 1717, the Bluecoat was transformed into an arts centre at the start of the 20th century, and our heritage events look at both aspects of the building’s development. Our Library will be open and material from our archive displayed in the Hub, 24 Feb – 23 Mar.
