The Big History Show – 800 Years of Liverpool comes to St George’s Hall between 14 and 16 September for the biggest-ever celebration of history in the city’s 800th birthday year!
St George’s Hall and other buildings in Liverpool’s Cultural Quarter will be used to house an exhibition of local cultural heritage organisations, a display of historical vehicles, and a major conference entitled ‘Liverpool: a sense of time and place’ in the Small Concert Room and other rooms.

The application form includes details on space allocation, suggestions for topics for the speaker, and how many trestle tables you will need. Please note that the cost to exhibit per table, for the whole exhibition is £60. Every effort will be made to accommodate all those wishing to take part, but should the event be over subscribed, all requests will be subject to a selection process to ensure the right mix of history groups, societies and organisations.
This exhibition is being organised by BBC Radio Merseyside in partnership with Liverpool Culture Company, Liverpool City Council, National Museums Liverpool, University of Liverpool, Liverpool John Moores and Liverpool Hope universities.
