Monday 15 December

Collected Symphony | View Two Gallery, 23 Mathew Street | 19.30
Staged as part of Fifth Floor artist Peter Liversidge’s artwork Proposals for Liverpool , View Two Gallery will be hosting a free performance by the pianist Tim Kent. Kent will perform a rendition of Collected Symphony using a grand piano and elements drawn from the music within Liversidge’s own record collection.

Tuesday 16 December

tenantspin in Residence | 10:00 – 17.00
tenantspin have built a television studio in the gallery where everything is filmed and broadcast online. With a different theme each day, visitors are invited to have their say in the 12 second TV booth, step into the shoes of their favourite news broadcaster or produce their own bulletins and features. In today’s broadcast tenantspin explore ’England’s Nile’ in a day themed on the River Mersey.

Jingle Bells | 12.00
Pupils from Kingsley Community Primary School in Toxteth will sing Jingle Bells in the foyer, marking the 151st anniversary of this much loved Christmas song. This performance is being staged as part of Peter Liversidge’s artwork Proposals for Liverpool .

Wednesday 17 December

Today tenantspin present a theological broadcast in ‘Faith Day’.

Meet the Artist: Dan Perjovschi | 16.00 – 17.00
Romanian artist Dan Perjovschi is famous for his cartoon-type drawings that respond to local and national issues. For The Fifth Floor he will be drawing directly on to the gallery walls and for the first time inviting the public to draw with him. The Making: Mercy | 14.00 – 17.50
See Members of artistic group Mercy writing and rehearsing new material and working with directors and cameramen to film a series of music style videos. See them making art using poetry, performance, music, painting, set design and contributions from visitors to the gallery.

Sunday 21 December

Festive Swap – Santa in the Gallery | 12.00 – 14.00
Our Fifth Floor Santa will be in his grotto giving out presents donated throughout the week in the Festive Swapshop. Expect something far from traditional, as Liverpool’s creative communities have had a role in coming up with ideas of what Santa and his grotto might look like!

Town Crier | 12.00 – 14.00

Travelling to Xijing | Performances at 15.00 and 16.00
Puppet theatre performances featuring artist group Xijing Men, DNA-Dynamic New Animation, Everyman and Playhouse Youth Theatre.

Schools Exhibition: Your World, Today, Tomorrow | Tate Liverpool Education Studio | Open all day
Schools from across the region have been asked to submit artwork that responds to questions posed by artist Dan Perjovschi; What is good and bad about the world today? And how will the world look in the year 3000? 20 schools have taken part, including The Alsop High School – Liverpool, Archbishop Blanch C.E. High School -Liverpool, Wood Fold Primary School – Wigan and Alt Bridge Secondary Support Centre – Knowsley. See the results in the Tate Liverpool studio.
