Super Happy Fun Times! – The Print Social

Risograph print by Mark Adamson

The Print Social is an informal gathering of printmakers, designers and artists who meet up at Golden Square Coffee about once a month. So it makes good sense to hold the occasional exhibition of their work in the same place.

The theme for this one was ‘Super Happy Fun Times‘. That’s the kind of theme we like.

This collection features prints which celebrate a range of printing methods such as screen printing, linocut and risograph printing.

The resulting prints are joyful and the launch evening was fun indeed with live music, live screen printing (we couldn’t resist having a go) and the ever-popular Draw The Line.

Wish we could have stayed longer and done some more screen printing and drawn a few doodles. We’re looking forward to more of these events.

Check out the Print Social website and facebook and if you’re into printmaking you’ll be welcome at future meetups.
