BA Hons Ceramics at University of Wales Institute Cardiff (UWIC) 2002-2005

Predominantly I produce functional ceramics that are hand thrown allowing for my own individual expression to be achieved and conveyed to the viewer. Encapsulating function and aesthetics in every object produced through personal commitment to the clay/ceramic medium is a paramount concern that is evident and allows for all pieces to be perfectly balanced within their chosen construction.

All work is hand thrown using Earthstone stoneware clay. Fired in gas and electric kilns to 1280/1300 C.

“Come into view” – at the Williamson Tunnels – 08/10/2010-22/10/2010
Responded to the site for this exhibition and produced porcelain bricks with messages on them to be considered, pondering and to evoke a response.
