Visual Architects is a Manchester based business specialising in event production. From décor to special effects to event production. Visual architects has gone from strength to strength to become one of the biggest UK décor and prop installation companies. Due to the growth we are looking for positive, dedicated and motivated people with a good understanding of the events industry to join our team.
We are looking for riggers who have experience in the events production industry. With a wide range of products and services made and hired out from our Headquarters in Stockport, you will experience the fast pace and exciting nature of events production. We are one of the leading companies in this field providing services for small club events to large festivals.
Job Role :
Rigging decor, props and installations in varying venues and festivals
Working at height with ladders to rig what can sometimes be heavy and obscure items.
Following clear, pre determined set up instructions as part of a team to bring to life clients visions and expectations.
Must be pro-active and have a willingness and desire to be creative
Skills & Experience:
High personal and professional standards, well organized and punctual and an excellent eye for details.
Able to manage your own time and work with other team members to ensure the timely completion of required tasks.
Have experience in manual labor duties, including heavy lifting, carrying and moving all types of equipment.
Must be able to work flexible, unsociable hours.

Additional training will be provided where necessary, but experience and qualifications in rigging, IPAF, set build, draping, lighting and special fx would be preferable.
