Popular Liverpool artist, Richard Meaghan has a studio on the 6th floor of the Gostin Building in Hanover St. Over the next month, all his recent work will be on display in the public area and corridor outside his studio.
Most of the works are for sale but you’ll have to be quick, they’re selling fast. Mostly large canvases, oil or acrylic, the forest scenes from 2003/4 are particularly striking and I’m fond of the older works from 2002 such as ‘Can’t stand the loneliness’ – good titles too, none of that ‘Untitled’ nonsense here!
The most recent work includes several brightly coloured smaller pieces, some using felt tips or acrylic on paper.
Open to the public until mid-August, Monday – Friday, 6th Floor, Gostin Building.
