Getting Your Poetry Published

Skills workshop – Saturday 24th March 10.30am -12.30pm, The Meeting Room, Dead Good Poets Society Office, 96 Bold Street, Liverpool.
Carole Baldock, Editor of Orbis International Literary magazine and Brian Wake, Editor of Driftwood Publishing, will lead you through the dos and don’ts of maximising your chances of getting your poetry into print.

International Poetry Reading

As part of the Poetry in the City Festival, Dead Good Poets Society are hosting an International Poetry reading at Edgehill Library, Lodge Lane, Liverpool 8

Saturday 24th March, 2pm – 4pm.

If you can speak or read a language other than English, please come along and read a poem – either by yourself or a poet you admire.

This event will also include the premiere of the translation project commisioned by Poetry in the City by poets Qi Ning, Xia Lu and Dave Ward.

Free – all welcome!

Liverpool Poetry Slam

Saturday 31st March @ 8pm. The 3rd Room, Everyman Bistro, Hope Street, Liverpool. Dead Good Poets Society present the 2nd Liverpool Slam, hosted by the incomparable Chloe Poems!

18 poets go head to head, verbally jousting for the title of Liverpool Poetry Slam Champion. Audience participation required!
