Poetry in the City (PIC) is Liverpool’s annual poetry festival. Now in its second year the festival has developed to include a series of innovative residencies and commissions. These commissions will be paid – pending funding
NB. Poetry and the City is funded by the Arts Council to run readings, workshops and events between April 24 – May 7, 2006.
The following commissions are additional and part of a second bid to Liverpool’s Culture Company….
1. PIC Poster Project On the theme ‘Heart of the City’
The chosen artwork will appear on posters and on the cover of Orbis Quarterly International Literary Journal, where the chosen poem will also be published.
Send either 3 poems, 3 illustrations , or 3 of each.
Illustrations: in black and white, or colour, A4 size
Poems: maximum 40 lines
