Ishan is a circular journey of R. Tagore through Love and Emptiness, we use mixed media to tell this story. The interactive lectures series include topics on Sufism, Rabindranath Tagore and Baul Music, each lecture will act as a musical score, with the speaker, audience, space, and environment functioning as compositional elements.

Following the lectures, the public will be immersed in 90 min. journey that’s divided into 12 scenes and involves real time interactive sounds. The show is a fusion of several forms of arts and explores their dynamic combinations with jams bringing together Bauls, Sufi-inspired Hip Hop and Rap bands and experimental music .

This is a charity project that will be recorded live in a CD/DVD for the benefits of Baul folk artists.
