As part of the Centenary Programme the Contemporary Art Society has invited Andy Holden to present a performance within the wonderful lecture theatre at the Victoria Gallery & Museum. Three Short Works in Time is Andy Holden’s ongoing programme of performances that investigate the relationship between sculptural objects and duration.
The work incorporates a 16mm film, a live camera feed, spoken word and a string quartet performing music by The Grubby Mitts and Johnny Parry.
This event forms part of the Contemporary Art Society’s Centenary Programme. Over 100 years they have donated more than 8,000 works to public collections in the UK where they are enjoyed by audiences everywhere. The Centenary Programme includes events, performances, displays, fellowships, publications and exhibitions developed in close partnership with over thirty Museum Members.
