Ten years ago Tony Evans was a student at Liverpool Community College Arts Centre in Myrtle Street (after working in insurance for 30 years). He then went on to Wirral Met to obtain a B.A.(Hons) Degree in Fine Art.
Today he was back to see his large sculpture of Pegasus unveiled by Lewis Biggs of the Biennial.
Its a lovely piece which, as Lewis pointed out, really works with the building.
There is also this week an exhibition of his sculptures in the front windows of the college.
Part of the exhibition will be pieces from his final year at the Arts Centre and his Degree Show at Wirral Met.
