From Urban Picnic which is part of the ‘Pool Project…
URBAN PICNIC – TUESDAY 20TH MARCH – 12:30PM
‘Give up computers and tv, rise from the desk, hokey cokey all around town. In out, in out, shake up the city’s past, explore the future, turn around to discover your Liverpool…’
We invite you to celebrate Liverpool’s birthday by looking at our city from unusual perspectives. March the 20th is the latest in the successful series of ‘Urban Picnics’. Come Hokey Cokey down the city’s jiggers and celebrate a little explored area of this wonderful city of ours.
Meet us at the Victoria Monument on Castle St, opposite the Law Courts, at 12:30pm for a journey through Liverpool – but not as you know it!
Bring some friends and a sandwich!
Urban Picnics is a project created with the aim of looking at underused or derelict land and how we can turn it into friendly spaces to create a healthier city. Our picnics take place in mystery locations that show you places and journeys you never knew existed or let you see familiar places in a new perspective.
Urban picnics are a part of The ‘Pool Project.
